Julia Katz

Administrative Research Assistant (Field Coordination)

Julia Katz is the Field Coordinator for the SECD Lab. She joined the Lab in 2021, assisting with the Youth Nation Project. She is an undergraduate student at Rutgers University, New Brunswick majoring in Social Work with a minor in Psychology. Julia is passionate about pursuing a career where she can both impact systemic change through anti-racist policy initiatives and poverty abolition advocacy, while also working in a clinical setting as a mental health therapist with marginalized communities. She loves SEL and hopes to create lasting impact through her work with the Lab!

Outside the lab you can find me: reading, drinking coffee, and cuddling with my golden doodle, Milo!
