Arielle Linsky, Ph.D.
Senior Lab Research & Practice Advisor
Arielle Linsky joined the SECD Lab in 2014 as a graduate student, and has been involved in many projects and roles since then—she is particularly proud of her involvement in the MOSAIC Project. Currently, in addition to serving as a Senior Lab Research and Practice Advisor at the Rutgers SECD Lab, Dr. Linsky is an Assistant Attending Psychologist at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital and Instructor of Psychology in the Department of Psychiatry at Weill Cornell Medicine. Her work is largely focused on supporting the mental health needs of individuals coping with trauma and adversity. In her research, she has developed, implemented, and evaluated social-emotional and character development interventions in low-resource schools in urban districts. In her clinical work, she has extensive experience implementing evidence-based treatments, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), across a variety of settings, with specialization in the treatment of anxiety and related disorders during young adulthood.
Outside the lab you can find me: enjoying yoga and dance classes, exploring New York City (in a COVID-safe way!), and spending time with my partner, family, and friends.
