While we deal with this current pandemic, we can see that our plans don’t always turn out the way we thought or expected--but that’s okay! Don’t worry, this is just a bump in the road. Remain positive and focused on where you’re going. Be resilient! Maybe you’ll get lost or take a wrong turn, change direction and get back on track!
To overcome obstacles and challenges, we have to be open to change, and adapt to any changes we face. Maybe we didn’t plan on getting lost, it’s ok--no one does! But it happens, and if we remain optimistic and focused on the future, it will all be worth it in the end. If we are focused on where we are, and where we want to be, then we do what we have to! Even if that means making a few changes--that is when we achieve our goals and prove to ourselves we can do it.
“To get something you’ve never had, you must do something you’ve never done”
- Resilience means knowing how to cope in spite of setbacks, or barriers, or limited resources.
- Resilience is a measure of how much you want something and how much you are willing, and able, to overcome obstacles to get it. It has to do with your emotional strength.
